elcome to the General Federation of Trade Unions (GFTU) ONLINE. The GFTU, the federation for specialist unions, aims to provide immediate and open access to our information pages. For lates news stories go to NewsXTRA.

Our 32 affiliated unions cover a wide range of jobs and industries from clothing and textiles to youth workers, from ceramics to probation services. Our head office is based in London UK.

We regularly update our site and introduce new material. We also list all our education courses and key events..
