Stove Grate

We are proud of our origins in the famous strike of 1889/90 but are today a modern and forward looking union.  NUDAGO is a force for the future.

General Secretary, Tony McCarthy, says "Our industries have to compete with high levels of imports, many of which receive heavy subsidies from their Governments, especially within the foundry industry. The drive for more productivity, at no cost to the industry, continues. This means for our members more flexible working hours, annualised hours and changes in methods of working...we have continued to improve wages and conditions, including a shorter working week and additional holidays."
