Writing the Edge – a presentation of ideas, and examples of political writing (as opposed to writing about politics) from Writers’ Guild members Jan Woolf and Richard Bradbury.
How can political writing be done well without being didactic? Where’s it at now in the digital era? Is political theatre thriving, or are people looking to other art forms to understand and be inspired about progressive change?
This discussion, with short readings from Woolf and Bradbury’s new work, is to help shape a week’s residential ‘Writing the Edge’ course, organised by the Writers Guild in 2018. Please come with your ideas, knowledge and experience.
